Worry About It In The Morning

There's babies being born on the bathroom floor
An old man was shot today walking to the store
The whole damn world still weeps memories of war
The guy across the street's got a swastika on his door

Let's go get drunk and worry about it in the morning
Let's have some fun and never worry about it at all
Don't want to hear about talk about the twilight dawning
Ain't gonna move until my back's up against the wall

There's people selling freedom at a thousand bucks a load
Children born to luxury dying in the road
Entire wings of governments are scrambling for a code
The missiles in the silos just wait there to explode

The gaps are getting wider
Between the peasants and the kings
Must be something in the species that
Explain these kind of things

Let's go get drunk and worry about it in the morning
Let's have some fun and never worry about it at all
Don't want to hear no fuss about some last warning
Ain't gonna jump until I feel as if I'm gonna fall

You wake up every day already listening for the sound
Another pillar of society crumbling to the ground
When men of clearest vision are afraid to look around
Just say another prayer or two and buy another round

Let's go get drunk and worry about it in the morning
Let's have some fun and never worry about it at all
Don't want to hear no sermon about the kingdom coming
Ain't gonna worry 'til the footsteps echo down the hall
